Laura Ann Gary, 58, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on January 18th, 2022 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Laura was welcomed into this world October 26th, 1963 to Thomas Milton Gary and Mary Ann Dittmer.

Laura graduated from North High School in 1982 and she obtained a business degree from Grandview University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Drake University. Laura worked for Wellmark Health Inc. for 33 years in multiple positions with the last position being Business Systems Integrator.

Laura Ann Gary is survived by sister, Elaine (Scott) Ellis; niece, Addie Ellis; and nephew, Ethan Ellis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Milton Gary and Mary Ann Dittmer; brother, Thomas A. Gary; and sister, Gloria M. Gary.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens 121 60th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa with a visitation one hour prior from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
