Andrew Wayne Enos
January 12, 2022
Andrew Wayne Enos, 64, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at his home in West Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
Andy was born June 5th, 1957 to Ronald, Sr. and Judy Enos. He grew up with his siblings in Des Moines, Iowa. Andy was an extremely skilled and well known -master brick mason. He built many beautiful homes and businesses, which always reflected his hard work and dedication to his art during his years as a mason.
Andy was married to Donna Lasnek in 1984, and they've spent every day together since. After Andy's retirement, they never missed watching an episode of "The Price is Right" together. Together they raised three children, and welcomed five grandchildren into their lives. During his younger years Andy enjoyed hunting, golfing, spending time with his brothers, family and friends, and telling stories around his pick-up truck after a hard days work.
Andy loved spending time with his grandchildren, whom he thought the world of. He cherished the bonds he had with his grandchildren with all of his heart. Papa was always ready for them with a big hug and a big smile from the heart.
Andy also loved spending his time watching TV with his wife, Donna, and reminiscing about their lives together. Andy could often be found with a Nintendo controller in his hands, and sure loved playing his slot games on the cell phone.
Andy was a very loving and caring soul. He was a completely selfless man, he was always there for anyone, for anything, and was known by many as "Uncle Andy". He lived by his saying, which he instilled into his family, "Never go to bed angry." He will be greatly missed, but he will always be remembered.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna "Homie" Enos; daughter, Jade (Kelly) Slaugh; sons, A.J. (Amy) Enos and Jared Enos; his beloved grandchildren, Damien "Little Man", Charlie, Dillon, Logan and Ayla "Turtle"; his sister, Pam Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he all cherished tremendously.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Enos Sr., mother, Judy "Cranky" George, grandparents, Bill and Gladys Enos, Lester and Verley Lincoln, his son, Andrew Enos Jr., step-father, Thomas George, brothers Ronald Enos, Jr., Mike "Budda" Enos, Sr., Tommy Enos, Jeff Enos, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Andy and online condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

Donna & family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Andy was like a second Big brother to me. It was very anoying when I was a teenager, telling me to stay away from boys, but it was him just looking out for me. I will miss him very much. I can't be at the service because I'm in Texas but I will certainly be stopping to see Danna when I get back. Love and hugs to you all.
