Frances Hull

Frances B. Hull, 93, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009, at Taylor House Hospice.

Frances was born June 27, 1916, in Des Moines to Jesse and Nina (Overton) Brown. She was a lifelong Des Moines resident. Frances worked as a bookkeeper for Air Products until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of Park Avenue Christian Church and director of The Happy Trail Singers.

Frances is survived by her niece, Nina (Philip) Brown; and two great nieces, Jennifer (Ryan) Repp and Katy (Luke Gloeckner) Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dwight Hull; and sister, Helen Green.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2009, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Park Avenue Christian Church or the Animal Rescue League.
