I am truly sorry for your loss Stephen. I will be making a donation in honor of JJ to YESS. Mental health is so hard to understand but there are people and organizations that help. You are in my prayers.

Jj has been my best friend/brother since i was 7 years old. I know I could be harsh and very blunt with the things we talked about but it was always out of love. I saw so much potential and love in Jjs eyes whenever talking about anything. He always helped me through my rough times and regretfully I couldnt be there for him once more . Jj youll be missed more than I can put into words. I hope everybody will be able to hold our heads up high through these tough times. I love you bro watch over us. 💙 R.I.P

I remember the day I met JJ as he entered my classroom the first day of first grade at Moulton Elementary School. He was a kind and sweet little boy. I have many fond memories of him. For years after he left my classroom we would get together for lunch. He particularly loved Subway! He would save half his sandwich to share with his dad, who he adored. I am so sad for everyone who loved him, such a huge loss. He remains in my heart. Rest in peace dear boy.
