My son Matthew made me aware of Ryan's passing. My heart goes out to the whole family. He left this world way too young. I pray for peace and comfort for everyone. We lived catty corner from the Davis family for many years on East 8th Street by the Belle Turner Park. May you rest in peace and your wings fly you high.

Davis family, I am deeply saddened to hear of Davids passing. I always liked Dave and saw the pride in his eyes when talking about his girls. He was a tough Marine but could be easily put at ease just by bringing his family up in a conversation. Please know that Dave is in a better place now, without pain. He is I am sure, surrounded by those family and friends, who have gone before him. I know he will remain in all our hearts until we all meet again. God bless you all.

I first met Ryan when he was a fourth grade boy with a huge smile, bleach blonde hair and on roller skates as much as possible. He was a good friend. I was lucky to have been able to keep in touch with him from time to time throughout the years. Always funny and straight forward. He grew up to be a patriotic, tough marine, proud dad, and good man among many other things. His story and earthly adventures ended too soon. I pray that he's at peace and I pray for comfort to his family.

We were two young guys trying to figure out what to do with ourselves in 1996. He made the solid choice to get his priorities in check, enlist, and start a family with another outstanding person. That truly was the catalyst that led to my better choices in life as well. I never got to thank him directly for the positive influence he gave me. It encouraged me to grow up and make better choices for myself and see past the present day. Beside every good man is a good woman. He connected with Sarah not long before enlisting, and Im certain that Sarah had a big role in those choices, along with Gary and Karen of course. As a result he pursued such a successful and respectable life, made a lot of people proud and provided well for his family. I followed suit shortly after and got my life on track again. So, thank you all, and my deepest condolences for your loss. Ryan, you grew into an outstanding man, and Im so very glad I had the opportunity to get to know you back when we were young. You will be missed my friend.

We were heartbroken to hear of his passing. Even though he was a formidable wrestler as a young man who grew to be one tough Marine, his heart was a tender one.
The devotion and love he had for his family and country ran deep into his very being and he made no secret of it.
He never got over the death of his beautiful mother. The only comfort one can gather is that he is with her and his Lord now. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Sending love and prayers to you, his beloved family.
