Linda J. Ellis

Linda Jane Ellis, age 78, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, surrounded by family.

Linda was born December 9, 1943 in Ottumwa, Iowa to John and Marjorie (Rowland) Coffman.

She was a social worker for the state of Iowa, working for Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

She enjoyed many years of bliss with her partner of over 30 years Rich Gordon, and visiting and talking with her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her partner Richard, and five children, Bob, Bryan, Beth, Brad, and Greg, as well as grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ellis, and her parents, John and Marjorie.

There will be a celebration of life at noon on Friday, January 14th, at Highland Park Christian Church in Des Moines.
