Keith Knowles
December 23, 2021
Keith Knowles, was born in Adrian, MI, to Francis and Patricia (Bosenbark) Knowles. He passed away on December 23, 2021, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of nearly 45 years, Nancy; sister-in-law, Corinne Nelson of Urbandale; brothers-in-law, Bruce (Bev) Nelson of Waterloo and Brian (Laurie) Nelson of Thor; a cousin, Anne Bosenbark of Quincy, MI; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis and mother, Pat, maternal grandparents, Harold and Vera Bosenbark; cousin, Richard; uncle, Richard; and aunt, Marjorie.

Dear Nancy & family & friends,
We have so many great memories over these years going back to Ames in the 70's through Decorah, and greater Des Moines years.
We will remember Keith's warm laugh, giving heart, friendly disposition, and talented hands.
So sorry circumstances prevented our coming from Michigan for the service.
Love to all.

Nancy, I lived in Olson in the room above your apt. The year was 1981. I remember the both of you as such wonderful people. Dont know how you put up with all us college kids. Keith was a really good guy! Gentle and caring. God bless you in this difficult time.

Keith was always one of the good guys at DMACC. We ate a lot of lunches together and discussed all the books we were reading and telling each other our Mother stories. Nancy, Im one that went to Keiths mothers funeral. A week early. 🙄 Keith got a chuckle over that. I will always cherish a carved Santa I have that he carved.

Nancy, sorry for your loss. I worked with Keith at Dmacc. He was such a nice person. I still have a Santa pin he carved and a metal "bug" he gave us girls. Always think of him when I look at those keepsakes. May he rest in peace 🕊
