Beverly Jean Myers

Beverly Myers, 86, passed away on December 23, 2021, surrounded by her family at Bright Kavanagh in Des Moines. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on September 1, 1935, to Elmer and Mary Floyd.
Beverly worked for 30 years at Bankers Life Company which later became Principal Financial Group. She also worked on the family acreage near Winterset for many years until it was sold in 1996. We know Beverly is up in heaven line dancing with the angels.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 68 years, George “Ed” Myers; children, Teri O’Leary, Judi (Dean) Martens, Steve (Brenda) Myers, MaryLou Myers, Nancie (Randy) Dorrell, Mike (Rishell) Myers and Ed (Nancy) Myers; son-in-law, Doug Niblo; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-granddaughters; brother, Richard (Nancy) Floyd. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Niblo; a great great-grandson; her parents; and brother, John (Connie) Floyd.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 2-4 p.m., with a 4 p.m. Rosary, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 10, 2022, at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Ave, Des Moines. Burial will take place at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to All Saints Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society, in loving memory of Beverly.
