Robert Barnes

Robert (Bob) Barnes of Des Moines passed away peacefully at Des Moines Mercy Medical Center on December 19, 2021 due to complications of Covid. He is survived by his mother Janet Hainline, his aunt Joann, his sister Trish, his best friend Mike Utley, his fiancé Madeline Utley, his children: Abby, Brittany, Parker, and Bobby, and his many grandchildren. Bob enjoyed 4x4 trucks, and old school beetles. He especially enjoyed Bee Bops cheese burgers, and fries, with a giant chocolate shake. He enjoyed spending time with his fiancé Madeline, as well as his friends and family. Bob was set to be married to the love of his life Madeline on December 23, 2021. Bob will be missed dearly by all of his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father Larry, his sister Pam, and his brothers Chuck and Bill. A celebration of life will be announced shortly after the holidays.
