Hannelore "Lore" Reeves

Hannelore “Lore” Reeves, 88, passed away December 13, 2021, at Manor Care in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Lore was born June 8, 1933, in Gelsenkirchen, Germany to Karl and Emma (Rosowski) Ernst.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making doilies. But, above all Lore enjoyed time spent with her family.

Lore is survived by her children, Johnny (Diania) Reeves of Des Moines, Dawn Reeves (Mark Mittelstadt) of Lake City and Robin Benedict of Louisiana; brother-in-law, LeRoy Reeves; 38 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, John.

The family will greet friends Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines. Lore will be laid to rest at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
