Service Details
Cindy J. Stringer, 64, passed away peacefully at her home on December 9, 2021. She was born in Des Moines on June 26, 1957, the daughter of George and Cynthia Fisher.
Cindy loved shopping, watching movies, and listening to music. Above all else, she loved to laugh and cherished time spent with family and loved ones.
Cindy is survived by her husband, William Stringer; sons, Taylor and Tyler Stringer; brother, Matt (Kim) Fisher; sister, Shelley (Charles) Fisher, as well as many other loving family and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cynthia and George Fisher.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 5-7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society in loving memory of Cindy.

I'll never forget going to Cindy and Bills wedding and seeing her so happy and in love, just glowing with happiness. I am sorry Taylor, Tyler and Bill for your loss, and sorry to my other cousins for their loss also. To soon my dearest friend known each other since Kindergarten. Hearing this breaks my heart. We had been thru alot in our lives together, being best friends as children and young adults and our husband's also. Although we hadn't seen each other for long time always here if needed.
