Service Details

Shelbi Rae Pierson was born April 2, 1985 and went to Our Lord on December 9, 2021. She was remembered by her big brown eyes, beautiful bouncing curls and a huge gleaming smile. Hunting, fishing, hiking, four wheeling, riding motorcycles, drawing, sculpting and snuggling her dog (or even a raccoon or two), is where you could find Shelbi in her element.

She was always a lover of music. Whether she was jamming out as a Lazer Rock Girl, performing in High School Show Choir or singing at the top of her lungs with her kids in the car; music was always present in Shelbi's life.

Much like her parents, she enjoyed working with her hands. Be it building with her loving father at Iowa Pallets or baking with her mother while cherishing their maternal bond. She also attended DMACC and became skilled as a welder. She was creative with a far reaching imagination.

She was the first one to photobomb a picture while flipping the bird, or drop a well-timed pun to create laughter till your sides hurt. She and her siblings had so many inside jokes bonding them together that it practically became their own secret language.

Shelbi was always exuding love to her friends and family through handwritten notes or sending a message of gratitude whenever someone popped into her mind.

Above all else she loved her kids, oh how she loved her two kids. Shelbi was a homemaker for many years and strived to bring joy to her children’s faces. More than anything, she longed to be the best mother in the world. She was proud of them beyond what her heart could contain.

Shelbi is survived by her parents, Mark Haller and Bambi Barber (Wendell Martin); her children, Jonah and Jacquelyn Pierson, and their father, Jacob Pierson; siblings, Natalie Goyette, Jamison Haller, and Nick Rezek; Hailey and Kenidi Haller and their mother, Cassandra Haller; as well as other loving relatives and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be directed to S.A.V.E. (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) or to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Shelbi.
