Harold Lee Hopkins, age 66, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Harold was born January 24, 1955 in Greenwood, Mississippi. He served as PFC in the
U. S. Army earning a National Defense Service Medal and Expert Marksmanship and Expert with Grenades badges. He was a good man who loved his family dearly. Harold was a hard worker and was always on time. He loved to drive trucks and was a jack of all trades. He was the life of the party – always smiling and always ready with a good joke. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Harold is survived by his daughters Tameeca Lyke and Roshonda Walker, brother Ace Taylor, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Taylor, father Ed Hopkins and a host of aunts and uncles.

There will be a graveside committal service Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, 34024 Veterans Memorial Drive, Adel, IA 50003.
