Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Companion, partner, best friend, confidant, teacher, mediator, defender, protector, and healer.
Expert level hand quilter and counted cross stitcher, avid reader, animal lover, camper, hiker, fisher person, and all-around good sport in all things.
Interior designer, landscaper, gardener, florist, remodeler, furniture refinisher, mason, painter and wallpaper hanger.
Great cook and expert cookie baker.
Confidant, self-assured and strong, but reasonable and open minded. A free spirit and thinker, seeker of truth and knowledge, eager learner and explorer of all things.
One of her favorite tee shirts, a gift from her oldest son, described her perfectly: “I quilt and I know things. That’s what I do.”
We’ll miss you and love you forever Deb, sweetheart, mom, grandma, little sister, aunt, and best friend.
Happy travels, honey. I love you more than all the drops of water in the universe.

Bob, Nick, Ben Jones, and Larry Farr, I am so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. I only met her once, but feel that I knew her well through Kelly. Kelly loved her so and was always telling me about the wonderful things she did. Cancer is horrible and robs us of so many beautiful people.
My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Deb gave a perspective on the world you could find nowhere else. Whether it was philosophy, art, politics, or the universe she had opinions with the knowledge and intelligence to back them. She made the best apple butter I have ever tasted and I always looked forward to quizzing her about the techniques and the special touches she used in everything she made. Her lust for life and it's beauty were contagious and I will always keep her memory close to my heart.

A great friend, full of laughter and wit. Also a tenacious debater who made you examine your opinions. We miss her.
