Randy Lee Schneider

Randy Lee Schneider, 63, passed away on November 19, 2021. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Randy was born October 6, 1958 in Illinois to Arlene and Vernon Schneider. After graduating from high school, Randy enlisted and served honorably in the US Army. He worked for the Pella Corporation and enjoyed fishing, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, and spending time at the lake.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Joe) Pett; grandchildren, Noah Michael and Jacob Lee Pett; and his brother, Ed (Shelley) Schneider. Randy was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy was the first person to befriend me when I moved to Dsm over 30 years ago gave me a place to live till I got my own place. Always a smile and kept us laughing all the time. As with time and life we grew apart and didn't talk for many years until my phone rang one day and low and behold it was Randy with his outgoing personality and genuine attitude wanting to get together again. I could tell by his voice he was happy and confident about his new life but as it would we never got back face to face again before he was gone. To all his new family and his first family I send my deepest sympathy and prayers for he will truly be missed. To you Randster farewell for now my friend you and Big John can have a cold one together again at last.
