Elaine Chandler, 68, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Hospital. She was born in Des Moines to Arthur and Angeline Chandler.

Elaine is survived by her four children; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

GOD’S SPECIAL ANGEL

God needed a special angel,
One loving, good and kind,
And so he chose our mother,
And left us all behind.

The tears we shed were many,
Our hearts were filled with pain.
But our loss upon this earth,

Her memory lives within.
