Shana Harris

Shana Marie Harris, 55, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Mercy Hospice House in Johnston, Iowa. Celebration of Life will be held at 11am Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Kingdom Life Family Ministries International, 321 Euclid Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. Public Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Shana was born November 24, 1965, in Des Moines, Iowa to Lula Harris. She was employed by Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for 35 years, retiring in March 2018. She was a long standing partner of Elpis Christian Fellowship in Des Moines, Iowa. Shana loved drawing, singing, shopping, and was well known and loved for her “shoe/boot collection”.

Shana’s legacy will live on through her only son, Clyde W. McGregor IV of Des Moines, Iowa; her mother Lula Jacobs of Des Moines, Iowa; her sister, Michelle T. Harris of Waukee, Iowa; her brother, William C. Jacobs; two grandchildren, Milaun Ruffin and Vershaun McGregor, both of Des Moines; nieces, nephew, host of aunts, cousins, family, and friends. Preceding her in death is her father, William C. Jacobs; and grandparents Reverend James M. and Jettie M. Harris.
