Pat Nall, age 70, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Pat was born September 12, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa to Howard and Ann Longcor. Pat was a very kind and caring mother. She always looked out for the whole family. She was the glue that held down the fort! Pat and her husband, Jack, enjoyed going to concerts. Pat was a faithful member of St. Augustin Church, where she attended grade school, and then went to St. Joseph’s Academy. She worked for Homesteader’s Life for over 25 years as a mail clerk, where her coworkers became her second family.
Pat will be lovingly remembered by her son, Brian Nall; grandson, Andrew Bozeman; great-granddaughter, Logan Bozeman; siblings, Steve (Nancy) Longcor, Mary Lumley, and Barry Longcor; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ann Longcor; husband, Jack H. Nall, Jr.; brothers, David Longcor and Howard Longcor; and her sisters, Shelia Nall and Karen Smith.
Visitation will held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021 at St. Augustin Church, 545 42nd Street, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project in loving memory of Pat.

I dont hold any grudges for what happens with our family and I do love her as my stepmom and being there even when I could be a real pain in the butt.. I miss you and you showed me that I was able to become more then my passes demons are just that passed thatll make me more thankful and thoughtful for others first. I know you would get frustrated buts thats because u believing in me is why I wanna be more

I worked with Pat for 19 years and she always seemed to have a positive attitude no matter the circumstance. There are good and bad people in this world and Pat was one of the good ones. RIP Pat.

Pat was always positive and a joy to know for all of my years at Homesteaders Life Company. She was one of those folks that made work days feel like being with family. She will be missed.
