Donene Kroeger

Donene Ann Kroeger, age 81, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021.

She was born October 7, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa to Donald and Agnes Moore. She married Rene Kroeger and together they enjoyed traveling and spending part of the year at their second home in Arizona. Her family loved her dearly. Donene was a people person and loved to cook and listen to music.

She is survived by her husband, Rene; son, Rod Kroeger (Krista); grandchildren, Katelyn and Brad Kroeger; sisters, Barbara, Cheryl, and Debra; and many other loving family and friends.

Donene was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Agnes Moore; son, Scott Kroeger; and her daughter, Connie Kroeger.

There will be a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery.
