Christopher Neal Helm

Christopher Neal Helm, 49, passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2021. Services will be held November 12, 2021 at Plymouth Church in Des Moines, IA at 12:00 p.m. with visitation prior from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow.

Chris was born February 21, 1972 in Des Moines, IA to Jacqueline Helm and Dwayne Stevens. He graduated from Lincoln High School and later from Des Moines Area Community College with an Associate Degree.

Chris worked as a Respiratory Therapist for several years, and also served for 6-years in The Army National Guard.

He was a devoted father, who loved to brag about his Beautiful Daughters.

He is survived by his "Pink Monkey Princesses" Josephine, Abigail, and Olivia Helm; his father, Dwayne Stevens; his much-loved twin brother, Craig (Jason Rosa) Helm; and the mother of his children, Shelly Griffith. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Helm; and grandparents, Arthur and Violet Helm.
