Dallas Conrad Roemer

Dallas C. Roemer, 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Pleasant Hill Free Church, 4555 Parkridge Avenue in Pleasant Hill, Iowa 50327. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Dallas was born February 12, 1932 in Des Moines to Mabel and Dallas Roemer. He graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1951 and married Janice A. Bryan on June 12, 1955 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Dallas was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired route driver for A&E Dairy after 37 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Janice, of 54 years; brother, David (Carole) Roemer; and cousins Marilyn (Al) Reeves and Jerry Broad.

He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved and cherished son, Blaine.
