Nadine was an honest, wise, and respected member of the Des Moines School Board for many years. She had one agenda item: Do what's best for the students. She was a gem of a board member. May she rest in peace.

My condolences to the friends and family of Nadine. She was always pleasant and interesting to talk to and she did so much for our neighborhood and the Des Moines Public Schools.
I was so pleased the city honored her by naming the shelter at Redhead Park after her.

Nadine was like my 2nd mom and I think I spent more time at her house than mine when I was growing up. She was a lovely lady and I really enjoyed re-connecting with her, Jill and Janet the last few years. She will always hold a special place in my heart. May she rest in Peace.
