Kathleen A. Lively

Kathleen Anne Lively, age 65, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

Kathy was born October 25, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa to Joseph and Joyce (Mitchell) Griffin. She raised her family in West Des Moines, where she spent most of her life. She loved being a wife, mom, and grandma. Kathy was devoted to her husband, Terry (Butch) and they spent all of their time together. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.

Kathy enjoyed garage sales, antiquing, and thrifting. She loved cooking for others, baking and crafts with her grandkids, attending church, and taking road trips. She was a giving heart and loved caring for other people.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Terry (Butch); children, Kaleena Lively (William Clark), Kalen Lively, and Karen Tate; step-daughters, Cora Brooks and Melody (Mark) Lipson; grandchildren, Nash, Hanna, Keysha, Izzy, Caleb, Erin, Meredith, and Sam; sister, Sharon (Terry) Cheuvront of Salineville, OH; and mother-in-law, Lois Jeffrey.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings.
