Bill Lewis

Billy Joe Lewis age 59, passed away in his home on Monday, October 11, 2021.

Born April 5, 1962, Billy was the oldest of his siblings. Growing up in a loving home taught him the importance of family and prepared him for the day he would became a father. He would go on to have a son, four daughters, and countless dogs. 

Bill was a proud man who valued hard work and education. He was a great cook, a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, and the world’s most “okayest” dancer. He was always trying to make others laugh by sharing a joke he had heard or, even worse, making up some of his own. He, and his unforgettable smile, will be dearly missed. 

He is survived by his life partner, Kathleen Mainelli; son, Antwon Shade; his daughters, Leslie Lewis, Brandi (Richie) Zawistowski, Pieper Lewis, and Willow Lewis; his siblings, Sheila (Chris) Selby and Albert (Trenesa) Kellogg; and countless nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. 

Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Kellogg (Lewis); stepfather, Albert Kellogg; and his sister, Theresa.
