Donna Lea Pazzi, 78, passed away in the arms of her husband, Frank on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1200 Warrior Lane in Waukee, IA followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Des Moines.
Donna was born on May 15, 1943 in Des Moines, IA to Leona (Dawson) and George Golob, Sr. She graduated from East High School and worked in the medical industry for Mercy Hospital, Des Moines General and the Kidney Dialysis Center. She retired in 2001 and worked for Taste of Hy-Vee.
In her free time, Donna was a master at crafts. She crocheted, created her own cards and was a member of a stamp club. She had her own business, Jewelry By Donna, and attended craft fairs with her designs. Donna also enjoyed the games at Prairie Meadows and Las Vegas. She and Frank once won $10,000! Donna was also a long-time, devoted member of St. Boniface Church.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank; her son, Frank, Jr.; her sister, Anna Roush; sister-in-law, Sharon Marvelli; brother-in-law, Louis (Diana) Pazzi, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, George Golob and Coleen Stanger.
Memorials may be directed to St. Boniface Catholic Church.

We are so sorry, Frank & family. Whenever we saw Donna at St. Anthony's Church, she was always kind & had a very sweet smile. May she rest in peace & may God bless each one of you with strength.

Frank, my condolences to you and the family. You shared a very long time together with Donna and were certainly blessed. I remember well visiting, your family and ours, way back when you were at the bottom of 6th street!
