Duane Chaffee

Duane Chaffee, 97, passed away October 5, 2021 at his home.
Duane was born October 29, 1923 in Vergas, Minnesota to his parents Ross and Elizabeth (Troutner) Chaffee. Duane enjoyed fishing and duck hunting. He worked in construction most of his life.
Duane is survived by his children, Bonnie (Steve) Shepherd and Rod (Milissa) Chaffee); grandchildren, Alysia Kepford and Ryan (Talia) Chaffee; great-grandchildren, Cole Kepford, Chase Kepford, Carsen Kepford, Luna Chaffee, and Stella Chaffee; great great-grandson, Dash Kepford; and a host of other loving extended family members, friends, and great neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne (Anderson) Chaffee; and parents, parents Ross and Elizabeth (Troutner) Chaffee.
Burial will take place on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, 34024 Veterans Memorial Drive Adel, Iowa.
