I just found out today that Donna had passed. It's a hush hush type thing where I heard it. I knew Donna from Broadlawns. She always checked me in, knew my name, who I was going to see, was always extremely pleasant and would talk to me if she had the time. She was a gem and I adored her! Actually, I loved her. I was heartbroken today when I found out, in total shock, I had just seen Donna at the hospital what seemed like not so long ago and she still remembered me! My prayers to her friends and family, and sweet Donna, I pray you always rest in peace. I will miss you terribly.

Donna was one of my neighborhood kids. We learned to roller skate together, how to make barbie dolls houses out of shoe boxes (that we got from the shoe store on ArmyPost). As a young teenager we would practice dancing to the 50 and 60s songs. We danced in her front living room. She has sleep overs now and than. She taught me how to use a quigie board.. we taught each other how to play jacks. I didn't know her as a adult because we moved from the neighborhood and things changed. She and I had a nice playful childhood. Great memories. I regret not sitting down with her and just go over memories of the 50s. Rest in peace.

To Donna's family I extend my most sincere condolences. Donna was such a wonderfully giving person. Always had a good thing to say about everyone. Always was the first to volunteer for things like "Night Eyes" at the Zoo. I so enjoyed working with her. The world won't be the same without her.

I so enjoyed playing WWF with Donna ("Grandma9952"). We shared some info but not much. Didn't know we had the same last name. Also coincidentally my granddaughters middle name is Rae and Donna passed away on my daughter's birthday. She seemed like a very nice person who sicerely loved her family. I will miss her. My condolences to her entire family.
