Raymond "Pat" Reilley

Raymond "Pat" Reilley, 83, died on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Mercy Hospital. A burial of cremated remains will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Berwick Cemetery, Berwick.

Pat was born March 17, 1926 to Willard and Margie Reilley in Des Moines. He served in the Army during WWII. He retired after 33 years as an experimental mechanic from John Deere and remained a John Deere fan for life. Pat was an avid hockey fan and had season tickets to the Des Moines Buccaneers. He also watched stock car racing and participated in skeet shooting. Pat's favorite past times were fishing, boating, and going to Big Creek.

Pat is survived by his daughter, Brenda Reilley; cats, Sleepy and Girlie; and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; and brothers, Kenneth and Matt Reilley.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
