Vivian Stark

Vivian Elaine “Dusty” Stark, 71, was born November 6, 1949 in Duluth, Minnesota. She passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 30, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Cremation will occur and private services will be held at a later date.

Vivian is survived by her children, Kristina, Thomas (Natasha), Windy and Nicole Stark; grandchildren, Alias, Zackariah, Kaspar, Drake, Kaiden (Felicia), EaLexia, Selyna, Khalil and Khalifa; great-grandson, Valentine; sisters, Julia and Sue Rae; other loving relatives and many special friends, including all of the children that she welcomed in to her heart and her home, as she was like a mother to them. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Fossmo and her sister, Kitty.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Vivian.

Your loss is in my prayers. I was lucky enough to know Vivian through working at MCDC. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and coworkers. She was a kind hearted person,soft spoken and cared deeply for her children and the children that surrounded her at work. May your memories fill up your heart and help you through these days ahead. 🙏
