Frances Lee Ruppert, age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021 with her family by her side.
Frances was born April 13, 1937 in Kirksville, Missouri to Andrew J. and Vivian A. (Deeds) Williams. She was a retired manager of Hamilton’s Apartments and former employee of the Bishop Drumm Retirement Center.
She is survived by her children, Charles Russell (Barbara), Kaiu Sisk, Robert Russell (Carol), Debra Felton (Ray), and Rodney Russell (Marci), 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and five siblings.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ruppert, two brothers, one grandson, and her parents.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 1 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Inurnment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Contributions may be directed to Blank Children’s Hospital in loving memory of Frances.
