Daniel E. Huffman

Daniel Eugene Huffman, age 74, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his home in Des Moines.

Daniel was born January 28, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Briggs Huffman and Woodrow Huffman, and his sisters, Sharon Chubb and Barbara Higgins. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Dany worked and retired from Des Moines Feed. He proudly served in the United States Army. He loved hunting, fishing, and collecting cans.

He will be greatly missed by so many. Dany had a big heart.

I miss you so much 😢 When I was a child you were always one of my favorites. I am so grateful of all these years we all had together. Everyday seems to be getting harder now that your gone. All of the kids loved you so much and you will be dearly missed. It was always great watching you and Jakaden and the love you had for each other. Love you always uncle Danny you will never be forgotten ❤

I worked and bowled with Dan for many years. He was a hard working guy!
We had good times teasing each other about whose football team was better. In honor of Dan - Go Washington Redskins! My condolences to the family and prayers for him to rest in peace.
