Verl Melvin Weber

Verl Weber, 81, went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Altoona Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on July 16, 1928 in Dallas Center to Vertie and John Weber.

Until his honorable discharge, Verl served in the United States Army.

Verl was united in marriage to Patricia Beard Peterson and she preceded him in death in 2006.

He is survived by his daughter, Jill Twiss; grandchildren, Shayni Twiss Miller, Skylar Rathbun, and Hope Twiss, and great grandchildren Kamryn Miller and Wolfe Rathbun.

A private burial of cremated remains will be at a later date.
