Jeff Utsler, 58, passed away September 1, 2021 at his home.
Jeff was born December 23, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa to his parents Earl and Margrette (Yazell) Utsler. Jeff worked as a kitchen manager at the Embassy Suites for many years. He truly enjoyed his job and being a part of the Embassy family. Jeff also enjoyed professional wrestling and listing to music. He had extensive CD and wresting memorabilia collections.
Jeff is survived by his sisters; Roxanne Ohnemus and LaNell Utsler; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Margrette Utsler; brother, Earl Wilbur “Spike” Utsler III; and sister, Maria Chance.
Family will greet friends on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, Iowa from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Memorial contributions can be directed to the family in loving memory of Jeff Utsler.

It is with a sense of deep sorrow that all of us at the Embassy Suites feel right now with the news of Jeff's passing. He was an awesome associate of our hotel and a good friend to everyone. We will miss him dearly.

Sorry for ur loss. I've know Jeff for many years. Even thou I hadn't seen him for many years. I would hear about him here and there thru the years. And was very sad to hear of his passing. May u find peace with his loss.
