Angela Wilson, age 50, passed away on unexpectedly on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born on March 12, 1971 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Angela attended North High School in Des Moines. After graduation, she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Criminology at Kaplan University. Angela loved nothing more than spending time with her family and took pride in being her family’s caretaker.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Keith Wilson; sons, Nicholas Heathcote and Michael Wilson; step-children, Taylor (Kyle) Russell and Bailey Wilson; four step-grandchildren; mother, Sandra Berger; brother, John (Angela) Berger; sisters, Alisha (Jim Jennings) Taylor and Tammy Berger; step-brother, Sonny (Jennifer) Berger; step-sister, Jacki Arrington; mother-in-law, Kim Wilkinson; brother-in-law, Michael (Misty Johnson) Wilson; sister-in-law, Nichole (John) Duggan.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines. Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Ding Darling Birdland Park, 2100 Saylor Rd., Des Moines.

When Angela passed it was in her wishes that she would become a donor and give the gift of life to someone in need of a transplant. Her legacy will live on through the gift of donation with her connection with the Iowa Donor Network. The family would like to thank the Iowa Donor Network for fulfilling this wish.
