Angela Billings

Angela Billings, 57, passed away September 1, 2021 at her home in Des Moines.

Angela was born November 7, 1963 in Yakima, WA to her parents, Richard and Neva Luna. They moved back to Des Moines in 1964 and Angela graduated from North High School in 1982. Angela was a stay at home mom most of her life. She enjoyed taking care of her nieces and nephews. The last five years she filled her spare time working as a waitress at Bianchi Boys Pizza of Altoona. Her bubbly personality attracted many repeat customers that enjoyed her company.

Angela is survived by her loving husband, Michael Billings; daughters, Cassandra and Mackenzie Billings; grandchildren, Gage and Mackenna Billings; father, Richard Luna; mother-in-law, Joyce Billings; sisters, Benita Church, Kathy Medina, Michelle Salazar, Sonja Luna, and Celeste Hernandez; brothers, Richard Luna II, Jason Luna, and Joe Luna; 26 nieces and nephews and 21 great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Marie Billings; her mom, Neva Davis; father-in-law, Jerry Billings; and sister-in-law, Darla Moser.

Family will greet friends on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, Iowa from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for a memorial visitation. Burial at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, 34024 Veterans Memorial Drive, Adel, Iowa will take place at a later date.
