Valerie Caraway

Valerie Caraway, 42, passed away on August 27, 2021 at Mercy Hospice of Johnston. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on October 30, 1978, daughter of Gerald and Beverly (Gable) Reeves.

Valerie graduated from Bondurant-Farrar High School and attended DMACC. She was a homemaker and took care of her parents until their passing. She was an avid pet lover –too many to even name, but she loved each and every one.

Valerie is survived by her husband of 18 years, Will Caraway; and father-in-law, Laird (Linda) Caraway.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Beverly Reeves; and mother-in-law, Lorrie Caraway.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to family in loving memory of Valerie.

I am so sorry to hear of Val's passing. She was a friend of mine in highschool. She was always so sweet to me and would pick me up from across the street and drive me to school in her orange car! I am thinking about and praying for all of her family and friends.
