Linda Michael
August 28, 2021
Linda Michael was born in the wee hours of the morning, during a raging blizzard, on March 3, 1965. Ever since that day Linda has faced many challenges in her life and rose above them all.
She shared a quiet life with her loving husband, Dennis and their cats. She was an avid reader, loved spending time with her grandchildren, and made the best chicken, broccoli and rice casserole ever. Linda loved her family in her own special way and we all loved her too.
Linda is survived by her husband, Dennis Michael; father, Will Smith, sisters, DyAnn (Bill) Menzel, Mary (Brian) Henry, and Susan Harris; brother, Mark (Shirley) Smith; nieces, Tara, Holly, Jenna, and Sara; and nephews, Jake, Nate, and Ben.
Linda joined her mother, Patricia Ann Smith in heaven on August 28, 2021.
She will be greatly missed by all of us.
Memorial contributions may be directed to family in loving memory of Linda.

My message is so late my dear friend because I just found out about your passing away. I have thought of you often and hoped and prayed you were okay. The last time we were together we had so much fun I took the sound of your laughter with me as I left the state of Iowa. I miss you my dear friend. I will always cherish our many years of friendship and sisterhood. Rest in peace my beloved sister. Forever your soul sister, Deanna ❤🙏

I keep thinking about the summers at the farm and how the horses loved you. I remember you putting carrots in your front pocket and they would gently take them out and eat them. I also remember being your catcher in the back yard while you hurled windmill pitches at break neck speed and Dad coached! I loved watching you do the butterfly at swimming meets. You were a fierce athlete. Play catch with all our fur children and hug all our loved ones who have gone on before. Kiss Mom for me. I sure miss you guys. Love Always, Susan
