Judith A. Meinen

Judith Anne Meinen, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 19, 2021.

Judi was born October 1, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jack Miller and Audrey (Bolich) Kropf. Judi loved feeding the birds and reading in her free time. She formerly attended Westkirk Presbyterian Church, Des Moines Assembly, and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Paul; daughters, Shelley (Craig) Mullins and Melinda “Mindi” (Andre) Johnson; grandchildren, Trisha (Greg) Allin, Jason Mullins (Jennifer Miller), and Hope Johnson; great-grandchildren, Casey and Piper Allin, and Jaelyn Mullins; and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Miller and Audrey and Jesse Kropf, and her brother, Dennis Kropf.

Cremation will occur and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to a charity of the donors’ choice in loving memory of Judi.
