Irene Bruch

Irene Elisabeth Bruch, 90, passed away August 17, 2021.

Irene was born November 5, 1930 in Tschausdorf, Germany to Gustav and Martha (Mertke) Mertke.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Diana (Ron) White; and grandchildren, Alexandra and Adam.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Guenter Bruch; and her parents, Gustav and Martha Mertke.

Inurnment of both Irene and her husband, Guenter will be held at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Irene Bruch.

God is so good. He knew she needed to be relieved of her pain. He knew she was ready, it was time. Please know my thoughts are with you as you adjust to a "new normal" without her but a thankful heart that she is "home."

Irene and Guenter have been dear friends since we met in Germany in 1957. Im sure my parents are rejoicing to welcome her to heaven! So glad you were with her when she passed into the arms of Jesus.

Diana, you were the joy of her life!
