Betty Jo Holden, age 51, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2021.

Betty was born February 6, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a loving mother and took great care of her family and her home. Betty enjoyed the outdoors, especially the woods, and liked riding her bicycle. Betty loved her family and her friends above all else.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Myrick of Council Bluffs; siblings, Bobby Jo Noble of Des Moines and Loyd Myrick of New York State; nieces and nephews, Cynthia Patton-Genochio, Sara Jo Genochio, and Shane Genochio of Des Moines and Irene Myrick and Michael Myrick of New York State; and her dear friend, Alan Lamb.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Marie Myrick; and her sisters, Joyce Myrick, Sandra Clark, and Sue Genochio.

Cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Betty.
