Margaret Mary “Dolly” Dalbey, 92, of Urbandale, IA, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 in the arms of her loving children.

Dolly was born on December 29, 1928, the daughter of Wayman and Lillian (Hillman) Gift. She had a very strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary, having made two pilgrimages to Medjugorje. She lived her faith and shared it with her family.

Dolly enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family. She was an excellent seamstress and quilter, who lovingly made many intricate quilts for her great-grandchildren. Dolly had a love for the beach and lived in Clearwater, Florida for 20 years.

Dolly kept a very loving home and her door was always open. She had the talent of always making people feel welcome and would even make their favorite dish when they would visit. She was a wonderful cook. She was an animal lover and the family had many pets. The most important things in Dolly’s life were her family, and being an example of love and forgiveness. Her belief was, “Love starts at home”.
