Rick Septer made his final curtain call on July 29, 2021.

Born January 15, 1956 to Harold (Shorty) and Betty Septer, who preceded him in death, Rick was the best at making something from nothing.

Rick was a man of many experiences and talents such as boxer, musician, actor and artist. He worked with his hands his whole life in construction and tile setting. Rick started acting later in life and had parts in two films, but was most proud of his appearance in the Lady Gaga video “You and I”.

Rick enjoyed darts, karaoke, playing guitar, chainsaw wood carving and golfing.

Rick was married for 27 years to the love of his life Barb Septer. He is also survived by 4 brothers: Richard Septer, Deane Septer, Mike Septer and Dave Boyd, 3 sisters: Dolly McDonald, Rhonda Wibe and Lori Septer, brother-in-law Harry Hunt and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his best friend Glenn Hurt.

Rick was a devoted husband, brother, uncle and dear friend to many and will be loved and missed always.

Somewhere Rick is playing guitar with Jimi Hendrix, sparing with Muhammad Ali and drawing with Frank Frazetta. Rest in peace- we love you.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Rick.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
