Charity Danielle DeHaven, age 43, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
Charity was born August 18, 1977 in Logansport, Indiana to Gary and Paulette (Celley) DeHaven. She graduated from East High School in 1995. She received her Associates Degree in General studies, also receiving a Certification of Specialization in Early Education from DMACC, Liberal Arts degree, Nursing degree, and was getting ready to start her RN program this fall. She worked as a Child Care Developer for UnityPoint.
She loved to hang out with family and friends. She enjoyed tubing, camping, and nail dates. She was the neighborhood mother and she never met a stranger.
She is survived by her three children, Zachary, Dante, and Cierra Parson; her granddaughter, A’Moura; her two mothers, Catherine Minniear and Paulette Celley; her four brothers, Randall and Douglas DeHaven, and Robert and Michael Minniear; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Charity was preceded in death by her fathers, Gary DeHaven and Don Minniear.
Cremation will occur and there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Union Park beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the park area by the Carousel.

Hey B... I miss you more than words can stay. I keep wanting to call you and see how your doing. Listen to you bitch about.. well ya know!! Everyday something comes up on memories that we've done in the past. Its to bad the last two years ya had to miss so many good times. Thats ok tho we made our own lol. I could go on and on. Your my bestfriend my soul sister and I am so lost it seems so sereal like I'm just waiting for your phone call. Just know I will not let anyone forget you!! Not that anyone would lol.. Wow, I am still in shock to hear of Charity's passing.i have so many memories with Charity. Today 17 years ago Charity was up at mercy with us when our daughter was born.She helped us pick out her name and helped with the spelling of Emilee Nicole. She will be missed by many. Rest in paradise.my friend.
