Cindy M. Myers

Cindy Marie Myers, age 57 (forever 37 at heart), passed away Friday, July 23, 2021.

Cindy was born August 21, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa to George and Beverly (Zumach) McAninch. She graduated from Norwalk High School. Cindy was a very caring person and she had a huge heart. She would take anyone in. She was very funny in a sarcastic way but was always very genuine. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. Cindy enjoyed fishing, and singing karaoke - anything country, especially Beautiful Crazy.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Myers; son, Christopher Myers; granddaughter, Everleigh Storm; mother, Beverly Peck; brothers, Gary McAninch (Lisa), Mike McAninch (Becky), and Tony McAninch (Robin); many nieces and nephews; and her partner, Ricky Eubanks.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Myers; father, George A. McAninch; step-father, Ernie Peck; sister, Sharon McAninch; and brothers, George William McAninch and Dale McAninch.

There will be a celebration of life on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed but memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Burial of cremated remains will be in Norwalk Cemetery on Friday after the services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Cindy.
