Nancy Drummond

Nancy Drummond, 79, passed away on July 18, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born in Kansas City, MO on July 10, 1942, to Verna and John Drummond.
After many years of dedication to the Federal Reserve, Nancy retired and devoted her time to spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her children, Laura Blake, Jay (Michele) Knudsen Jr., and Tara Knudsen-Hankins; brother, John “Bill” Drummond; sister, Marty (Doran) Thompson; granddaughters, Tonya Knudsen, Lynne Blake, April Fisher, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Verna and Tom Drummond; brothers, Robert “Denny”, James, and David “Mike”; sister, Diana; son-in-law, Rich Hankins, and her great-grandson, Keagin Adamson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am, July 22, 2021, at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Ave, Des Moines. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm with a 6:30 pm prayer service, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in loving memory of Nancy.

Grandma, I miss u so much. U meant the world to me. I know u was in a lot of pain n now u are pain free. I have always dreaded this day would come and scared to live without u but bc of u I can make it thru anything life throws at me and I'm forever grateful for that!! Grandma I love u so much!! Thank u for everything u have ever taught me in life. I will forever miss u but will nvr forget how much of a friend,mother and grandmother u was to me!! Plz tell my daughter's Jayavahna Lee, and NaTaya Kay and my Dad I love n miss them very much!!Thank u until we see each other again I ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ U!!!!
