Jay Derring Parker, 61, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. He was born May 6, 1960 to Lester and Barbara Parker in Des Moines.
Jay grew up in Des Moines and worked for various companies as a heavy machine mechanic.
Jay is survived by his father, Lester (Bobbi) Parker; sister, Debby Ludwig; step-brother, Justin Parker; and other family friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara.
There are no public services planned.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a local animal shelter of the donor’s choice in loving memory of Jay.
