Jane Carol Lundholm
July 07, 2021
Jane Lundholm, 69, passed away July 7, 2021. She was born November 5, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she was raised and later lived most of her adult life in the Des Moines, Iowa area. She loved nothing more in life than spending time with her family, whether it be her children or grandchildren, and good friends. She cherished attending the sporting events and performances of her grandchildren, but most of all she relished any event where she could simply sit and bask in the pleasure of her family.
Jane was a loving wife, mother and the BEST GRANDMA in the world to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also an amazing aunt and friend to many. Outside of spending time with her family, Jane worked in the grocery industry for over 30 years where she made many lifelong friends.
She also treasured bowling – spending many years in a Thursday night Ladies League, volunteering on various boards, and lovingly supporting her friends and family in their passions and causes.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lundholm; her mother, Clara Zaremba; her father, Chester Zaremba; and granddaughter, Lauren Burkhardt.
She is survived by her children, Tiffiny (Scott) Gaskill of Urbandale, IA, Nicholus (Uva) Crow of El Paso, TX, Tricia (Andrew) Beltrame of Johnston, IA, and Kirk (Melanie) Lundholm of Stilwell, KS; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her sister, Jo Rice of Urbandale, IA; brother, Steve (Linda) Lundholm of Des Moines; and many, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Polar Bear Foundation at https://polarbearsinternational.org in honor of Jane’s love for Polar Bears.
Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA on Monday, July 12, 2021 with visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Burial of her cremated remains will be on Tuesday, July 13 at 9:30 a.m. at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa.

A street couldnt keep us apart as kids or when your parents moved you to New Berlin and even when you moved to Des Moines we still couldnt be kept apart. We could always have a good laugh or a cry together. I will always cherish our sister friendship. Jane please save me a spot next to you in heaven .
