Gary Dale Jeffries, age 71, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

Gary was born March 12, 1950 in Montreal, Missouri to Oscar and Lily (Fredrick) Jeffries.

He retired from UPS after over thirty years of faithful service. Gary loved his rock and roll! He enjoyed family get-togethers, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Carol Jeffries; children, Bobby Dale Jeffries (Angie Belk), Troy Dallas Jeffries (Julia), Eric Daniel Jeffries (Candice), Ashley Diane Torres (Thomas); grandchildren, Sean, Savannah, Layla, Lilith, Kiara, Gwinevere, Analia, Leo; and his brother, Russell Jeffries.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lily Jeffries; and his siblings, Wayne, Dean, Clara, and Joyce.

According to Gary’s wishes, cremation will occur. Burial will take place at Buffalo Prairie Baptist Church Cemetery in Montreal, Missouri at a later date.
