Faye B. Arnold, 95, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA.
Faye was born September 10, 1925 in Ledyard, IA to Laura and Everett Black. She graduated from North High School and was employed as a secretary. She married Robert Lemon and from this union two children were born. She later married Earnie Arnold.
She resided in Manhattan, KS, Seattle, WA, Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Boise, ID., before eventually returning to Des Moines in 1973.
Faye is survived by her son, Steven Lemon; daughter, Laura McClurg; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lemon, second husband, Earnie Arnold and step-daughter, Elinor Meugniot.
Cremation rites have occurred and Faye will be laid to rest next to her husband Robert Lemon at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines, IA.

So sorry to hear of Fays passing. I feel so fortunate that I got to meet her last summer. She was my half sister..That I never knew. I told her upon leaving " we are half sisters." Her reply was.."no, we are sisters." I truly wish we would have known each other better. Just that hour with her indicated what a special person she was. I know she will be greatly missed by her family.

Laura, Steve, Emily, Aubrey, Jill.... I am so sorry for your loss. Faye was a remarkable lady and we all loved her. She left her mark on the world through our family as well as yours. Julie and Mike, Carmen, Melissa, and Journey.
