From the moment we met her, Lynelle treated us like family, been down to earth, and incredibly kind. She is gone way too soon.
Lynelle will be greatly missed by us and we will never forget her name and memory.

Sis, you were your family's rock. You were a remarkable and loving mother and grandmother. Your sons, Anthony, Austen, and Aaron, manifest your teaching by their achievements and how they treat people. You loved them, and they loved you. Your grandsons loved you more than words can articulate, and like your sons, the love you gave them will forever remain in their hearts to guide them throughout their lives. I will miss you for the remainder of the days of my life.

At the very start of my career at the Women's Facility at 3100 Cottage Grove, I was privileged to meet the stunningly beautiful Lynelle Simon as she looked up from reading the Bible that she always had open at the front desk. I was so impressed with her calming voice and her audacious faith.
And as I got to know her, I found a fun-loving part of her as she convinced our supervisor, TP that his initials actually stood for Timothy Pasquale!
If EVER there's a person that I KNOW is in the arms of Jesus, it is Lyn. Rest in peace my dear friend.
